Sue is from sunny Malaysia, where she completed her dental training. She earned her qualifications from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She joined us in early 2022, after years of experience working in public and private Dentistry. She has always been interested in progressing her skills and is looking forward to pursuing a postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry.

Holding a Master’s in Dental Public Health from Malaysia, she is a registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist with the General Dental Council. She has been applying her extensive expertise at Eastgate dental in Aberystwyth since 2021. She lives for innovation and has completed comprehensive training in facial aesthetics and is looking forward to introducing cutting-edge procedures at our clinic, with the aim of enhancing the well-being and confidence of our patients.

Associate Dentist & Implantologist

George Toma graduated in Dentistry from Ain Shams University, in Cairo, in 2014. He continued his professional development as a post-graduate, pursuing his interest in implantology and consistently exceeding expectations. In 2018, he was awarded a Master’s Degree in Clinical Implantology from the same university. For almost six years, George gained further skills and experience as a dentist running his own practice in Cairo.

Naomi is a hardworking and compassionate member of our team and is our longest serving Dental Nurse here at Eastgate Dental. Originally from Liverpool, she moved to Aberystwyth from Cardiff after many years of living, working and studying in the Welsh capital. She specialises in Implant Nursing and loves that each day is unique, presenting new opportunities for growth and learning. You may spot her in her scrubs, gown and hair net ready for any implant surgery.

Sammi is a keen and devoted trainee dental nurse who started her job with us in August 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Gerontology, which focuses on the study of aging. This background equips her with comprehensive knowledge in assisting frail adults with mobility and providing optimal care for them. With ample experience as a social work assistant in Ceredigion County Council, she brings valuable insights to our team. She is passionate about promoting efficient and professional service in dentistry and goes the extra mile to take care of our patients.

"At the reception, we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of our patients. Clinton co-ordinates our reception team and he is always ready to help you with any of your queries. Originally from Aberystwyth, he has returned to his hometown after spending a decade in South-East Asia. Delighted to contribute to the local community he grew up in, he's eager to lend a hand wherever he can.

Trainee Dental Nurse & Reception assistant

Jazz is our enthusiastic and creative Trainee Dental Nurse and reception team member here at Eastgate Dental! Jazz has been a part of this team since March 2023 and loves having a dual role within the practice. She loves working with both the reception and nursing team, which she finds really helpful to get to know and understand our patient's needs.
