Dr Sue Chen Tan

Associate Dentist

Sue is from sunny Malaysia, where she completed her dental training. She earned her qualifications from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She joined us in early 2022, after years of experience working in public and private Dentistry. She has always been interested in progressing her skills and is looking forward to pursuing a postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry.

A fun fact: before entering the medical field, she was already an accomplished musician, her other passion. She specialised in electone and piano and was even offered a scholarship to study music in Japan. However, she knew Dentistry was her calling. After graduating, she backpacked around Europe and decided to settle in the UK to enjoy the many opportunities to attend music performances and learn to play more instruments in her down time. Actually - she has already started organ lessons!

Sue has fallen in love with the views of the Cambrian mountains and loves to hike whenever she gets the chance. One of her goals is to learn astrophotography as she loves the starry skies of the Elan Valley.
